Ribe is Denmark's oldest town, with its roots dating back to 700 AD. The town centre has medieval-era cobbled streets and a Romanesque cathedral with a fascinating history of damage and restoration. The town is relatively small, and flat, making it easy to explore! Ribe is situated on the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park, which we will be exploring during our visit, which gives the town a peaceful atmosphere.
We will be staying at Danhostel Ribe, a fully-catered hostel. Participants will be in rooms of 2-5 people with bunk beds and a private bathroom per bedroom. Bedrooms will be allocated to ensure any accessibility needs are met (e.g., a lower bunk), and we will open a buddy system, similar to the ball table buddy system, so that you will share a room with someone you know. We should have the whole hostel to ourselves, which will provide additional privacy and flexibility.
